In memory of our precious "Gem", our very special Champion ribbon winning young female who met an untimely demise, we have named "El Nino's Precious Gem" to carry the torch.

El Nino's Precious Gem is so awesome, she is like a flawless diamond - she just sparkles. Her bones are incredibly thick and covered with curly ringlets from the full face down to between the toes. She's quite a sight to see.

Gem made her first appearance in the show ring at Ohio's AlpacaFest, November 14, 2005 - taking the Blue in a full white juvenile class and the White Female Color Champion. We will show her again at the All American Futurity in April. Look for her there.
