Blazen Belle

She's built like a brick outhouse! Fleece that shines, consistent lock structure, and ultra-fine hand measuring 18.2 microns at 2 years old. Belle is a dead ringer for our foundation herd.

On July 2, 2004, Belle delivered a little "miracle" and we named him "John 3:16" - appropriately celebrating the miracle of birth. Both Belle and John survived a late-term uterine torsion that resulted in several complications and a long, 5-week stay at Ohio State University's Veterinary Hospital.

Belle has now completely recovered, with just a small scar to remind us of her endurance. She's a wonderful mother to her cria and has given us another male cria in 2005. She is re-bred to our Light Fawn Reserve Champion Herdsire, Woods Edge Flash Fusion, for a November 2006 cria.

Awards:
2004 First Place Winner of the national Fiber to Fashion Spin-Off in Las Vegas, Nevada in the white suri fleece class and awarded HIGH SCORING SURI of all suri fleeces entered in the show.
